India entry confirmed by McLaren, launch scheduled for 2022

McLaren will open its first dealership in Mumbai and the renowned British brand will formally join the Indian market.

Digital Desk: McLaren Automotive is a British luxury car manufacturer headquartered in Woking, England at the McLaren Technology Centre.

It is an official confirmation of McLaren Automotive's entry into the Indian market with the first dealer in Mumbai opening its doors in October. With this, India becomes the 41st country for McLaren. McLaren affirms that the dealer will run at full capacity, enabling consumers in India to buy every model available from the brand.

The Bruce McLaren-founded McLaren Formula 1 team was the source of the name McLaren Automotive. In the last few decades, the iconic McLaren F1's creator, McLaren Cars, was replaced by McLaren Automotive, the supercar manufacturer that we know today. The company has made a name for itself as one of the world's top producers of high-performance goods.

McLaren builds its vehicles at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, UK. The McLaren Formula One team, the second most successful team in Formula One history, is also housed in the technical center. The complex is next to the factory where this equipment is handcrafted.

McLaren will celebrate the opening of its Mumbai store in October of this year. The McLaren GT, high-performance hybrid-Artura, 600LT, 720S coupe and spider, and 765LT are all scheduled to be offered.
