SEBA HSLC revaluation: How to Re-Check Answer Scripts and get Scanned Copies

Digital Deslk: You can now check the results of your High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, 2024, which has been declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. Access them through various websites or by using the Mobile App. If your results are withheld due to registration issues or other reasons, follow the provided instructions to resolve them.

If you wish to have your answer scripts re-checked or obtain scanned copies, you must apply within 15 days from the opening date of the link on SEBA's official website, sebaonline.org. The fee for re-checking and obtaining scanned copies is Rs. 400/- per subject. Re-checking results will be communicated within 30 days from the last application date.

You also have the option to get scanned copies of your OMR with an answer key at Rs. 50/- per subject. These will be sent to you via email within 30 days from the last application date.

The process for re-checking answer scripts for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, 2024, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, involves the following steps:

1. Notification: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam, has notified the procedure for re-checking answer scripts and obtaining scanned copies of answer scripts and OMR with answer keys for the HSLC Examination, 2024.

2. Application: Candidates intending to get their evaluated answer scripts re-checked will have to apply through the SEBA's official website sebaonline.org within 15 days from the date of opening the link.

3. Fees: The fees for re-checking answer scripts along with obtaining a scanned copy of the answer script is Rs. 400/- per subject. The fee for obtaining a scanned copy of the OMR and answer key is Rs. 50/- per subject.

4. Procedure: The re-checking process includes re-totalling of marks awarded by the examiner, assessment of answers which have been left out unevaluated, and correction of wrong entries of marks of any manner or nature.

5. Results: The results of re-checking will be informed to the applicant within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application, by SMS and e-mail only.

6. Scanned Copy: The scanned copy of the answer script will be available for the applied candidates through e-mail only.

7. OMR Sheet: The scanned copy of the OMR and answer key will be made available within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application to the applicant through e-mail only.

8. Undertaking: The candidate shall have to give an undertaking that the scanned copy along with re-checking of answer scripts shall not be given to any institution or school for display or any commercial purpose or to print media and electronic media by him/her or anyone on his/her behalf.

9. Confidentiality: The answer scripts are confidential documents and will not come under the purview of the RTI Act, 2005, before the declaration of re-checked results of the HSLC Examination, 2024.

10. Disposal: All records except the Tabulation Registers (TRs) shall be preserved for up to 4 (four) months only from the date of declaration of the results of the concerned Examination after which all records except the TRs shall be disposed of in the manner as the Board decides.
