Rohit Basfor, known for his role in the web series Family Man 3, was allegedly murdered
Digital Desk: The Bollywood Rohit Basfor gained fame primarily for his role in 'Family Man 3' before his fatal death, which led to his body being discovered near the waterfall within the Garbhanga forest terrain near Guwahati. The discovery of his body on Sunday evening caused a major sensation within both the film industry and the local community.
Originally from Assam, he came back to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months before this incident occurred. Rohit Basfor left his home with his friends around 12:30 pm on Sunday to spend the day on an outing. The victim set out for a day outing with a friend who trained at the Varlur Amur Gymnastics Center among the other members of their group. His family members lost all communication with him during the later parts of the afternoon. One of Rohit's friends eventually notified his family about a fatal incident that had taken place. His body was taken to a private hospital, and later informed to his family members. An unknown person notified the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), later, the SDRF recovered the body and took it to the hospital.
According to Rohit’s family members, his four friends carried out a pre-planned murder attack, which led to his death. Rohit's family states that three suspects, including his friends Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore and Dharam Basfore had threatened him with harm after a parking dispute the week before Sunday, when all of them got together. The family holds suspicions against Amardeep, who operates a gymnastics center, because he supposedly extended the invitation for Rohit to attend the outing.
A medical examination conducted at GMCH on Monday showed that Rohit suffered various wounds over his whole body, particularly his head and facial areas, and other regions, which pointed toward the manager. The police began their investigation while the four accused people are currently absconding from their locations. Police are continuing efforts to track them down and bring the culprits to justice.
