    ‘It is totally obscene’: Priests call for ban on Sunny Leone latest video album

    Mathura: Priests in Mathura have shown extreme displeasure and demanded a ban on Bollywood actor Sunny Leone latest video album ‘Madhuban mein Radhika nache’.





    Saregama music released the music video featuring Sunny Leone. The actor performs in the party number sung by Kanika Kapoor and Arindam Chakraborty. The song was originally sung by yesteryear’s music legend Mohammed Rafi for the 1960 film Kohinoor.

    “She should not be allowed to remain in India if unless she withdraws the scene and tenders an apology,” Sant Naval Giri Maharaj of Vrindaban said, while speaking to PTI. “We will go to court if the government does not act against the actress and ban her video album,” added the Seer.





    Adding on, Akhil Bhartiya Tirth Purohit Mahasabha’s national president Mahesh Pathak said that the actor has presented the song in a “derogatory manner”. “She has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community by maligning the image of Lord Krishna and Radha,” added Mahesh Pathak.





    Even netizens too have slammed the actor of performing “sensuously” on the song that displays the subject of love between Krishna and Radha.





    Meanwhile, the music company has released no statement on the issue, neither has actor Sunny Leone released any statement regarding the complaints filed by the priests.





    Sunny Leone latest video has caused a ripple in Mathura, where the priests have sought no excuse whatsoever, the actress should leave the country for her "obscene dance steps" in the video.
