    ‘Lord of the Rings’ series to land on Amazon Prime in September 2, 2022

    Washington: Television fantasy series Lord of the Rings is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 2, 2022, announced Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios.






    Reportedly, the shooting of the upcoming fantasy series is completed in New Zealand on August 2.






    Disclosing the release date, Jennifer Salke stated, “The waiting is over for the ‘Lord of the Rings’ series lover’s, it’s going to release on Amazon Prime on September 2, 2022. I can’t express how excited I am; we all are to take our global audience on a new and epic journey through Middle-earth! Our producers, creative team, cast and production team have worked tirelessly in New Zealand to bring this awe-inspiring vision to life.”






    Reportedly, the forthcoming series is the adaption of the epic fantasy adventure film series ‘Lord of the Ring’ based on the works of renowned author J.R.R. Tolkein.






    The series will be led by executive producers JD Payne and Patrick McKay, starring Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle and Sir Lenny Henry.






    Moreover, Amazon also released the first look of the much-awaited series, and will be available worldwide in more than 240 territories and countries.
