    'Comedy Premium League' to premiere on Netflix on August 20

    California: Leading streaming entertainment service Netflix has announced a new comedy series, Comedy Premium League, which will be launch on August 20, 2021.






    Prajakta Koli will host the series produced by OML Entertainment. Reportedly, it will see names like Aakash Gupta, Amit Tandon, Aadar Malik, Mallika Dua, Kenny Sebastian, Rahul Dua, Sumaira Shaikh, Tanmay Bhatt.






    OML entertainment asserted, "This series will explore different comedy formats ranging from stand-up, presentation comedy, roast, skit and improvisation.






    Moreover, this year Netflix proclaim at least 40 Indian originals asserting it was looking forward to stretching it by about three times compared with 2020 across languages and genres.






    According to a research firm's report, Netflix dominates 14 per cent of Indian's online video market revenue while Amazon takes up 7 per cent.






    Reportedly, Amazon has more than 34 million subscribers in India. However, the number of subscribers in Netflix is yet to be disclosed by the streaming company.
