In order to promote traditional Indian art, Deepika Padukone dazzled in a black and gold saree from Bengal Tiger couture in the French Riviera last year. In addition, Deepika Padukone even wore a saree for her very first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

Since Kangana Ranaut has always been vocal in support of wearing traditional Indian clothes, it was not surprising that the actress chose sarees for her Cannes appearances. In 2019, Kangana opted for a golden Kanjeevaram saree with wine-colored sleeves in contrast to her previous dramatic black saree.
