Digital Desk: Another week, another batch of new entries to Amazon Prime Video's library! There will undoubtedly be something in the ten upcoming movies that you will want to watch.

    Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa

Steve Coogan's funny feature-length comedy as the legendary Alan Partridge sees him in his own version of Die Hard when his radio station is held hostage by a fellow DJ (Colm Meaney).

    Boy In The Corner

A powerful crime drama about a young man with big ambitions and aspirations who is manipulated by the system and pushed into a life of crime.

    Detective Knight Redemption

Here is the formal plot synopsis: "In New York, Detective James Knight (Bruce Willis) finds himself in the middle of a jailbreak led by The Christmas Bomber, a brutal fanatic whose Santa Claus disciples are terrorizing the city." Despite this, it has a shocking 67% on Rotten Tomatoes.

    Fisherman's Friends: One and All

In this 2022 comedy-drama sequel, a group of fisherman discover a new outlet as a group of singers struggle to return to their normal lives after performing at Glastonbury.

    Gladiator

Hot off the back of the news that the upcoming sequel is set to feature Denzel Washington and two of the best young Irish actors around, why not go back and (re)watch the Russell Crowe-fronted modern classic?

    Guilty Conscience

In this 1985 mystery-thriller, Anthony Hopkins goes to some incredibly creative lengths to murder his wife in what could be the perfect murder.

    Rams

Sam Neill and Michael Caton portray two estranged brothers who are compelled to work together on their farm when a rare illness threatens to wipe out all of their sheep. The comedy-drama has an impressive 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

    Searching

Sorta-sequel Missing will be released in Ireland later this month, so now is a good opportunity to watch this excellent thriller about a father (John Cho) attempting to locate his missing daughter using only her laptop and mobile phone.

    The Wolf of Wall Street

Among all of Scorsese and DiCaprio's collaborations, this is undoubtedly their most purely entertaining effort. Extra marks for Jonah Hill's scene-stealing supporting performance.
