Digital Desk: Recently, Bollywood actors Anushka Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan were spotted enjoying bike rides without wearing helmets. After their video went viral on social media, users began criticizing them for not obeying the traffic rules and urged the Mumbai Police to take action.
The Mumbai Police have now launched an investigation against Amitabh Bachchan, who took a lift from a fan to reach, and Anushka Sharma, who took a lift from her bodyguard. Thanking his fan Amitabh Bachchan shared a video on social media and wrote, "Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to the location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner."
One of the social media users responded to their video by tagging the Mumbai Police and wrote, "Missing helmets for both rider and pillion. @MumbaiPolice please take note!." Further, responding to this, Mumbai Police wrote, "We have shared this with the traffic branch."
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Ganapath-Part 1 alongside Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Elli AvrRam. The film, directed by Vikash Bahl, is scheduled to release this year. The actor is also in Nag Ashwin's Project K, which stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The movie is set to be released next year.
Anushka will have a busy year in 2023, as she also plans to return to the big screen. After almost five years, Anushka will make her big-screen comeback this year. The actress will play the lead in cricketer Jhulan Goswami's biography, Chakda Xpress. The movie will be available on Netflix later this year. Anushka's last film appearance was in Zero in 2018, although she made a cameo in Qala last year.
