Digital Desk: Aaradhya Bachchan, the granddaughter of iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan and the daughter of talented duo Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has filed a complaint with the Delhi High Court against a YouTube tabloid for spreading 'false news' about her health and life. As a minor, the 11-year-old has requested a court order against such media coverage of her. The case will be heard at the Delhi High Court tomorrow, April 20.
Trolls have frequently targeted Aaradhya Bachchan for a variety of reasons. During Bob Biswas' promotions, an enraged Abhishek lashed out at trolls who harassed his daughter regularly.
In response to the online criticism directed at Aaradhya, Abhishek told BollywoodLife, "While it's utterly inappropriate and something that I will not condone. I'm a public figure, which is good, but my kid is not. If you have something to say, say it to my face."
When it concerns Amitabh and his granddaughter, the two have a wonderful bond. Amitabh explained how he spends time with tiny Aaradhya in the last season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. When talking about her, he said, “The profession I am in - films - I have to leave my house very early for work when she's in school and when I pack up and return home, she's sleeping. There's very little time that we get together but on Sundays, we come together and have loads of fun. She has stopped playing many of those games, now she is a grownup kid. She plays mature games. There is one game - aapne joh bola uska last letter se fir bolna padta hai (The game where we pick the last letter of the opponent's word and say a word that starts with it). We also play games on the computer. Not video games, but stuff like Tennis, and football. That is how we spend time together. Thanks to technology, we stay connected through Facetime. It is only Sundays when she is free, and if I get the time, I play with her for some time.”
Meanwhile, Aaradhya started to make public appearances with her parents frequently. The mother-daughter pair was recently spotted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) grand opening in Mumbai.
