Cirkus trailer launch: Ranveer Singh calls Deepika Padukone’s song cameo as ‘high-voltage’; Watch here

Digital Desk: Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated trailer of Cirkus has finally been released!  Deepika Padukone's cameo in the teaser definitely stole the show, even if all the performers in it did a great job. After making a small role in the teaser, the Bollywood diva quickly made headlines, and her husband Ranveer Singh couldn't stop gushing about her.

The Bollywood actor, who was speaking at the premiere of the Crikus teaser, couldn't express how he felt about his wife's cameo, choosing instead to say that both his wife and the song are "zabardast" and "high voltage."

In response to a question regarding Deepika's response to the song, he threw the ball in filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s court,  stating, "She had been to my office yesterday to see the song, and Boss (Rohit Shetty) showed her the song.

A cast member yelled, "Accha laga, accha laga," sending everyone into fits of laughter, before Rohit Shetty could even respond to the query.

Deepika Padukone made a stylish entrance while donning a pink and green gown with exquisite gold jewellery. The catchy beat and engaging choreography had us fascinated as we danced with Ranveer to the "current" tune.

The Bollywood actress has several movies in her career; Gehraiyaan was her most recent appearance. Deepika is currently shooting for Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Project K with Prabhas. She will also be in Fighter and Jawan.

Ranveer Singh's much-anticipated movie Cirkus is about to hit theatres. The movie, which is slated to hit theatres on December 23, also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma in significant parts. Alongside Alia Bhatt, he will also appear in Karan Johar's romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
