Here is why Censor board gives 'OMG 2' U/A certificate

Digital Desk: Ahead of OMG 2 release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the trailer of 'OMG 2' U/A certificate. Additionally, the Censor Board insisted on changing Akshay Kumar's character in the film.

The much-awaited trailer will release only about a week before the scheduled date of the film's release. The teaser of the film has been played at cinema halls with the message 'Awaiting Certification'.

The CBFC is also requesting that the character played by Akshay Kumar, who plays Lord Shiva in the film, needs to be changed.

The movie essentially talks about sex education in schools. There is also a masturbating scene in it. Pankaj Tripathi, Arun Govil, Govind Namdeo, and Yami Gautam all play significant roles in the movie.

There were many rumours that the producers intended to delay the movie's release because of the UA certification and the cutbacks.

The filmmakers claim that it will have an impact on the film's overall message since they believe that everybody should be able to watch a movie about sex.

"OMG 2," a film directed by Amit Rai, is the sequel to Umesh Shukla’s superhit satirical comedy 'OMG', which starred Paresh Rawal in the leading role.
