Digital Desk: Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' appears to have an advantage over Leonardo Di Caprio, whose film 'Killers of the Flower Moon' was also released last weekend. According to Comscore estimations, the Thalapathy Vijay picture not only registered at the global box office but also outperformed 'Killers of the Flower Moon' throughout the weekend.

If Comscore projections are correct, Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' debuted third at the global box office. On October 19, the picture was released internationally. A day later, Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Killers of the Flower Moon' was released and took the top spot.

'Leo' grossed $48.5 million in four days, compared to $44 million for 'Killers of the Flower Moon' over the weekend.

On October 23, 'Leo' appeared in the Comscore ratings, indicating that it had earned Rs 400 crore worldwide in just four days. 'Leo' managed to enter the Rs 200-crore club in the home market after only five days in theatres. According to early estimates, the film grossed Rs 38 crore in India.

On October 19, Thalapathy Vijay's film 'Leo' was finally screened in theatres.
