Reportedly, Bhatt was not feeling well a few days ago, following which he went for a regular checkup, where the doctors advised him that he might need to undergo surgery. Thus, Mahesh Bhatt underwent angioplasty.
The reports added that the surgery was conducted four days ago. Rahul Bhatt, the filmmaker's son, confirmed the reports concerning his father's health to ETimes. He even stated that his father was admitted to the hospital earlier this week and underwent heart surgery. "The good news is that Mahesh has returned home and is recovering quickly," Rahul said.
Speaking to the portal, Rahul said, "But everything works out in the end. He is presently OK and at home. I can't provide you with any more information as too many people were not allowed in the hospital." Other family members, including Soni Razdan, Pooja Bhatt, and Alia Bhatt, have remained silent on this matter.
