FIFA Fan fest: Nora Fatehi is brutally trolled for holding the National Flag upside down

Digital Desk: Nora Fatehi, Bollywood's sizzling queen, earned headlines for her performance at the FIFA World Cup, and she even made Indians proud by taking centre stage at FIFA Fan Fest. Nora danced to her recent chartbusters Garmi, Saki Saki, and Naach Mei Rani on Tuesday.

Nora received an Indian flag from the audience after putting the stage on fire, and she decided to take her performance to the next level by holding and waving the flag. Nora even said 'Jai Hind,' and the crowd applauded. The event's footage went viral, and fans hailed Nora. 

However, there has been a shift in public opinion since the extended version of the performance exposed a big blunder by Fatehi. There are videos circulating on the internet of Nora holding the flag upside down, which enraged the netizens.

Many netizens demanded an apology from the Street Dancer star as soon as these films were made public. As one user put it, "Antarashtriya sthar ke chilgozo ka kamaal dekhiye ulta jhanda phera kar surkhiye bator rahe hai. Tirange ka apmaan ki #FIFAworldcup" Another person said, "#NoraFatehi Ma'am, I admire you greatly. You raised the IND tricolor in honour of India on your live performance, however leaving the tricolour on the ground damages our sensibilities, and you're holding the tricolour upside down. You must apologise!!" Another netizen commented, "#NoraFatehi You made an honest mistake, and we can see you didn't mean to hold the flag incorrectly, thus your error should be pardoned. #jayhind."

Nora received full-fledged roles in films like Street Dancer 3D and Bhuj- The Pride of India after making news with her hot item numbers. She even received accolades for her appearances in John Abraham's Batla House and Satyameva Jayate. Nora also received applause for her recent hit item song 'Jeda Nasha' from the film An Action Hero starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
