Digital Desk: Adipurush, starring Prabhas, has generated a lot of excitement among fans ahead of its debut. The legendary movie, based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, will be released in theatres on June 16.

Despite several delays, it has generated enormous demand, and it's pre-booking ticket prices in Delhi have suddenly risen to Rs 2,000. Prices were comparable in other places such as Bengaluru, Kolkata, Noida, and others.

According to trade observers, the film has already made Rs 3 crore in pre-release ticket sales, and it may smash the records of blockbusters such as KGF and RRR.

According to reports, the three main theatre chains, PVR, Cinepolis, and INOX, have already sold roughly 35,000 tickets for the weekend, with a total of approximately 50,000 tickets sold across the country.

According to rumours, ticket rates for the film's first day of release have risen to Rs 2,000 at PVR: Vegas LUXE, Dwarka in Delhi. Meanwhile, the first-day shows at PVR Select City Walk (Gold) were sold out, and tickets for the next day were going for Rs 1,800.

Tickets cost Rs 1,650 at PVR Gold, Logix City Centre in Noida. Prices have risen to Rs 2,000 for all shows at Mumbai's Maison PVR: Living Room, Luxe, Jio World Drive, BKC, with first-day shows sold out in several cinemas.

Tickets for the film were selling for Rs 1,600 and Rs 1,800 at Bengaluru's PVR, Director's Cut, and REX Walk and for Rs 1,060 at Kolkata's South City Mall.

According to industry experts, the film has generated roughly Rs 3 crore from advance bookings alone before its theatre premiere, indicating a solid start. However, given the film's massive budget, the sum isn't excessive.

According to sources, the film will need to smash multiple box office collection records to become profitable due to its high budget of almost Rs 700 crore.
