Digital Desk: Ram Charan is very overjoyed as his song Naatu Naatu, which he performed with Jr. NTR in SS Rajamouli's an epic period action film RRR, won the Best Original Song Oscar at the recent 95th Academy Awards. On Friday morning, the actor arrived back in India from America to a cheering crowd of supporters.

The question of what kind of movie character he would most like to perform came up at Charan's attendance at the India Today Conference in the evening. After thinking for a while the actor said, "Anything sporting is something I would enjoy doing. Long overdue. Perhaps a movie about athletics." The biopic of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was then suggested, and the celebrity accepted, adding," Fantastic, he is an inspiring soul. I think given a chance, it will be fantastic as I look similar also."

Ram Charan will next be featured in the political action thriller movie RC15. For the pan-Indian film, which was shot all over the country from Hyderabad in Telangana to Amritsar in Punjab, the actor reunites with his Vinaya Vidheya Rama co-star Kiara Advani.

Shankar Shanmugam makes his Telugu film directing debut with RC15. Blockbusters like Indian, Enthiran, and 2.0 were previously produced by the director. In addition, he is now filming Indian 2, which features a large ensemble cast that includes Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Gulshan Grover, and Siddharth, among others.
