    Raveena Tandon Father Passes Away at the Age of 86
    Digital Desk: Raveena Tandon’s father, Ravi Tandon, died today (February 11) at the age of 86. The actress announced her father’s death with a heartfelt post and a sequence of nostalgic photos.

    Raveena took to her Instagram and wrote, “You will always walk with me, I will always be you, I’m never letting go. Love you, papa (sic).”

    According to a source close to the actress, Ravi Tandon, died in the early hours of Friday morning, at 3:40 a.m., at his Juhu apartment.

    Several celebrities, including Neelam Kothari, Juuhi Babbar and Chunky Panday, Juhi Chawla, expressed their condolences for Ravi Tandon’s death in the comments section.

    Ravi Tandon, born in Agra to a Punjabi family, was active during the 1970s -1980s. He has directed, produced, and written films like Anhonee, Khel Khel Mein, Majboor, Khuddar, and Zindagi.

    Last year, Raveena Tandon gave her fan a sneak peek into her father Ravi Tandon’s private birthday celebration. She uploaded several images and videos from his cake-cutting ceremony as well as a family gathering. In the video, Raveena’s mother, Veena, can be seen, as well as her husband Anil Thadani and daughter Rasha Thadani.

    To mark her father’s birthday Raveena Tandon shared some rare photos on Instagram and wrote, “My first love, my hero , my inspiration! .. Humility, Grace Compassion,and Self Respect #allinone, Happy Happy Birthday Papa! #ravitandon to many many rocking years ahead ! #foreverpapasgirl thank you instafam for@your good wishes already! All conveyed!.”

    Reportedly, the late filmmaker’s funeral will take place at the Santa Cruz crematorium at about 4:30 p.m.
