Digital Desk: Filmmaker Kabir Khan has produced some famous movies throughout the course of his career, including 83, New York, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Kabul Express. The filmmaker is married to Mini Mathur, an actress and television presenter. Kabir recently stated that despite the fact that he and Mini come from different religious backgrounds, it has never been an issue in their marriage.
In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Kabir stated, "Mini comes from a very conservative Mathur family. Although Mini first believed that convincing her entire family would be difficult due to religious differences, it was just so lovely to see how they all welcomed me."
Kabir began his career doing war documentaries in war-torn countries such as Afghanistan and Palestine. However, he used to make a point of writing letters and sending letters to Mini Mathur. He claimed that her father used to be impressed by this.

Speaking further about the marriage Kabir said, "We had a wedding and performed wedding rites from both sides. I am an atheist, therefore I don't fully believe in God or religion, so it was quite easy for me to accept all of that."
Kabir's most recent piece, 83, was inspired by India's triumph in the 1983 cricket world cup. The film features Ranveer Singh as India's former captain and all-rounder Kapil Dev, and Deepika Padukone as his wife Romi. Kabir's next project, which will star Kartik Aaryan, is still untitled. Recently, the director disclosed that the movie is centered on an unidentified Indian hero.
