Digital Desk: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan reportedly met with an accident on the set of one of his projects in Los Angeles. Reportedly, Khan met with an accident and injured his nose, after which the actor had to go through minor surgery.

"SRK was in Los Angeles on a project when he hurt his nose. He started bleeding and had to be taken to the hospital," a source told ETimes.

The source further added that the doctors said to the Khan's crew that there was nothing to worry about and that Khan would simply require minor surgery to stop the bleeding.. After the operation, SRK was spotted wearing a bandage on his nose. Shah Rukh Khan has returned to the country and is recovering at home, the source added.

So far, neither the actor nor his crew have released any statements in this regard.

Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan made an impressive comeback to the big screen with Sidharth Anand's Pathaan. The film, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham released on January 25, crossed Rs 1,000 crore at the gross worldwide box office.

Seeing the film's global success, Khan praised the audience for reviving the cinema.

"All of us here are really grateful, first to the audience, and second to all of the media for supporting the film so much despite the possibility that certain circumstances would have prevented the film's successful release," the Pathaan actor said.

Following the success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is now preparing for his second film, Jawan. Jawan promises SRK in a never-before-seen avatar and will see him sharing screen space with Lady Superstar Nayanthara. Vijay Sethupathi is believed to play the role of antagonist.

Jawan, directed by Atlee, will hit theaters on September 7. Khan's other projects include Dunki and Tiger 3.
