Shah Rukh also answered queries concerning Pathaan, his personal life, and even his preferred English song (Stand By Me, for anyone wondering).
Digital Desk: Shah Rukh Khan surprised his followers on Wednesday by hosting an impromptu ask me anything (AMA) session on Twitter. The actor answered a variety of questions from fans about his life, work, and of course the upcoming release as he waits for the release of his movie Pathaan this month. Even when some critics and trolls interjected the occasional insult, he responded to them.
The actor announced his completion of 13 years on Twitter in a tweet. “Realised it’s 13yrs on twitter. It’s been fun with all of u & fan clubs loving me so much. Mixed with good wishes,
suggestions, memes, re-edits, expectations, unsolicited advice & some unsavoury behaviour…to all of u my best wishes to make a good life in the real world. #Pathan,” he wrote. A Twitter user said, "Pathan disaster already Retirement lelo (take retirement)," in response. Shah Rukh replied, "Beta badhon se aise baat nahi karte!!" rather than ignoring it. (Kid, don't speak this way to your elders.)
The actor's supporters thought the response was well received and that it was the best course of action in this situation. "SRK, very excellent. Give it back, but don't ignore them," advised one supporter. Another tweeted, “Earlier fans used to thrash these trolls. Ab to Shah Rukh sir bhi (Now even Shah Rukh sir).”
Shah Rukh also answered queries concerning Pathaan, his personal life, and even his preferred English song (Stand By Me, for anyone wondering). He even conveyed well wishes to hospitalised cricketer Rishabh Pant, who was hurt in a car accident.
