Digital Desk: Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are ready to reprise their roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena in the upcoming sequel to their successful film Gadar, and things are looking promising at the box office for them.
According to film industry analysts, Gadar 2 has shown remarkable inclinations in advance booking sales for its premiere. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 11th.
As per the most recent data, the film has done exceptionally well in multiplexes, already selling over 76,600 tickets so far. While the PVR chain has sold 33000 seats for Gadar 2's opening day, INOX and Cinepolis have sold 25,500 and 18,100 tickets in advance booking, respectively. The count, however, stands out in comparison to the 4 lakh tickets booked in advance for Pathaan earlier this year.

However, in comparison, Gadar 2's advance booking is doing better than Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju, which sold 72K tickets before its debut. Additionally, Wednesday and Thursday will be critical in determining how well Gardar 2 will perform after it's release on Friday.
The film's trailer has just been posted on social media. The three-minute film focused on Tara Singh and Sakeena's legacy during the turbulent Divide India Movement of 1971. Tara Singh travels all the way to Pakistan to save his son, Charan Jeet Singh (Utkrash Sharma), from the Pakistani Army. The film is said to have a lot of dialogue and battle scenes.
