Digital Desk: Bollywood's trendiest and bold star Taapsee Pannu has proven her worthiness with a succession of outstanding performances. In recognition of her talent, the diva received an award at the third Filmfare OTT Awards.
A number of famous people graced the red carpet during the starry night, bringing glitz and opulence. Taapsee's movie Looop Lapeta took up the Best Actor (Female) award in the Web Original Film category.
Tapsee soon posted a long message on Instagram thanking numerous people, including the entire Looop Lapeta crew. "Okay, so last night, this happened. Everyone had trouble understanding why I would want to make the movie #LooopLapeta. Why would I want to alter a classic like Run Lola Run, and why would I act in another running movie? I went into narration intending to answer No and came out having answered YES immediately! The writers did a fantastic job of adapting Lola and making her our very own Savi, the director is a crazy ball of talent ready to explode on screen, and his team just made sure my every demanding, exhausting day on set ended with a smile on my face! These people all had the confidence to take this risk. All of the whys become why-nots.Without this crew, I don't believe I would be half as Savi. This one goes to the #LooopLapeta crew because, on sometimes, actors receive far more credit than they merit. The coolest movie I've ever made, with the coolest crew that had the guts to take on this challenge and succeed with flying colours (you have to see the movie to "get" what I mean)," she added.
Taapsee was most recently seen in Blurr and will soon be featured alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki.
