However, an incident on the red carpet has left fans of the couple wondering if everything is fine between them.
On Friday, a paparazzo account shared a video of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh walking down the red carpet at the Indian Sports Honours awards. In the video, the couple can be seen making a royal entrance as they are photographed by paparazzi. Soon after, as they walk towards the venue, Ranveer Singh can be seen extending his hand to Deepika as a romantic gesture. However, the actress, who appears to be preoccupied with her saree, appears to miss her husband's gesture. While many overlooked it, others claimed Deepika deliberately ignored Ranveer's gesture.
Many fans of Ranveer claimed it was very 'disrespectful' of Deepika to ignore Ranveer’s gesture. Some even predicted that their marriage was in trouble.
