Allu Arjun's Hyderabad residence vandalised by protesters

Digital Desk : A group of persons on Sunday vandalised Telugu Suparstar Allu Arjun's Hyderabad residence. The group claimed to be panel members of the Osmania University.

The protesters raised slogans against the actor and demanded justice and compensation for the woman who died in a stampede case at a movie theatre. The protesters vandalised flower pots and other things at the Jubilee Hills residence.

On Saturday, Telangana Chief Minister also alleged that Allu Arjun visited the theatre despite police permission being denied. Later, the actor denied this allegation saying it was not true and the police were clearing the way for him.

At the time of vandalism, Allu Arjun was not present at his residence. The attack came hours after the actor requested his fans to refrain from using abusive language both online and offline.

A 35 year woman died and her 8 year old son injured on December 4 during a stampede incident at the Sandhya Theatre following the arrival of Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun for the movie's premiere. The woman identified as Revathi was killed while her injured son is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Allu Arjun was arrested by the Hyderabad Police following the stampede incident but granted bail on the same day.
