Desk: Anushka Sharma returns to the big screen after a three-year absence (due
to the epidemic and her maternity leave) to star in Chakda Xpress. The
massively-produced Netflix Film, which is tracking the wonderful journey of one
of the fastest female pacers in world cricket history, Jhulan, will highlight
how the pacer progresses up the ladder despite several obstacles to fulfill her
one and only dream: to play cricket. "Tracing the wonderful journey of one

official logline.
Jhulan
went on to captain the Indian women's national cricket team and is a role model
for the country's young players. In her honour, an Indian postage stamp was
produced in 2018. Jhulan holds the world record for the most wickets taken by a
woman during her international career.
Chakda Xpress, directed by Prosit Roy, was recently shot in
the United Kingdom. The actress is now filming India promotional material. 'Clean Slate Filmz' is producing the film. Anushka has already put in months of
practice to become the famed Indian fast bowler.
