    Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao's PAN card was misused; He tweeted #FraudAlert

    On Saturday, actor Rajkummar Rao said that he was a victim of identity theft, with his PAN card being used to obtain a loan in his name.


    Digital Desk: Rajkummar Rao claimed that his PAN card was accessed, and a loan was taken out in his name. He stated that his credit score had incurred a setback.


    On Saturday, actor Rajkummar Rao said that he was a victim of fraud, with his PAN card being used to obtain a loan in his name. The actor claimed that his credit score had been harmed due to the scam. He has requested an investigation by the Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL).


    Rajkumar tweeted from his Twitter account, "#FraudAlert My pan card has been misused, and a small loan of ₹2500 has been taken on my name. Due to this, my cibil score has been affected. @CIBIL_Official, please rectify the same and take precautionary steps against this." The official Twitter account of CIBIL is yet to reply to the actor.


    Rajkummar, on the other hand, has been a victim of fraud for the second time this year. In January, he spoke up about a phoney email received in his name in an attempt to extort $3 million.


    He had uploaded a screenshot of the email on Instagram Stories. "#Fake guys, please be careful of such fake people. I don't know anyone named Saumya. They are using fake email IDs and managers to con people."


    Rajkummar had forwarded a message that read: "Hi Arjun, As per our last conversation to you and my manager Saumya, I with this say that I agree to work in the said film titled Honeymoon package, which is being written by Mr Santosh Maskey and the director on the crew is Also Mr Santosh Maskey. Unfortunately, I am physically not present in Mumbai, so I am sending this consent by mail." 

    "The process of signing and script narration and the mailed agreement's hard copy would be done once we are in Mumbai. The agreement will come into effect only when the agreed signing amount of ₹3,10,000,00 (50% of the total fees) is credited to my bank account, or as My manager, Saumya, said, you are giving me 10,00,00 in cash and 3,00,000,00 by cheque. On the 6th of January, I am comfortable with the narration in Hyderabad Ramoji Studio. You, the director & Producer, are invited here and all above the mail. Regards, Rajkumar Rao."


    Rajkummar's most recent film was Badhaai Do, in which he co-starred with Bhumi Pednekar. The upcoming bucket list of his movies are Hit, Monica, O My Darling, Bheed, Guns and Gulaabs, and Bhushan Kumar's upcoming untitled film where he will be essaying the role of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla.
