Digital Desk: An purported suicide note left by actor Vaishali Takkar said that Navlani, with whom Takkar had a relationship in the past, was harassing her and preventing her from getting married. The television star, who gained fame with her role in Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hain, was found hanging at her Indore home on October 15.

A case of abetment to suicide has been filed against the actor's neighbour Rahul Navlani, and his wife, Disha. As per the police, Rahul is missing.

The actor's family was aware of her relationship with Navlani, according to the police, who added that the family stated in their statements that Navlani was spreading rumours about Vaishali and revealing their relationship to her prospective grooms.

The engagement was called off after Navlani allegedly transmitted photographs and videos of Vaishali to her fiance, a dentist. Rahul used the same trick when her family tried to get her engaged to someone else.

In her suicide note, Vaishali allegedly wrote that "Rahul Navlani exploited me emotionally and physically. And finally he said that I won’t let you get married and he did that".

She even accused his wife of ruining her reputation. "I want to mention that Rahul’s wife Disha knew the truth but she used to say bad about me in front of everyone because she wanted to save her family. Rahul took advantage of this. He knew that I wouldn’t be able to do anything to him and he wrecked my life. I cannot punish them but maybe the law and God can," the note read.

Vaishali Takkar is best known for playing the role of Anjali Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka, Shivani Sharma in Super Sisters, Netra Singh Rathore in Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and Ananya Mishra in Manmohini 2. She made her television debut in the longest-running drama on Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where she played the role of Sanjana from 2015 to 2016. She last starred as Kanak Singhsaal Singh Thakur in the TV show Rakshabandhan.
