The woman darkened her skin and posed as a roadside vendor in her photos on social media. She was also seen in the same attire in a reel. In the short clip, she was shot handing out roses to people on the street.
She has over 3 lakh social media followers. Online users reacted strongly to the images and videos. Many accused her of using the identity of economically disadvantaged people to express her views and preferences. Others questioned her motivation for using such a contentious concept.
