The producer of the Hindi film 'Dehati Disco' was escorted from his home to the Amboli police station after his wife filed a complaint against him.
Digital Desk: An official said that Mumbai police detained film producer Kamal Kishor Mishra early Friday for reportedly driving his automobile into his wife after she discovered him with another woman in the vehicle.
According to police, the alleged event occurred on October 19 in the parking lot of the couple's flat in Andheri (West) when Mishra's wife discovered him with another woman in the car.
Mishra, the producer of the Hindi film 'Dehati Disco,' was taken to the Amboli police station from his residence on Thursday after his wife filed a complaint against him.
According to the official, he was arrested in the early hours of Friday.
According to the lawsuit, Mishra's wife went out to look for her husband and saw him with another lady in his car in the parking lot. When the film producer's wife went to confront him, Mishra drove away from the scene and hit his wife, causing injuries to her knees, hand, and head, according to the police report.
As per authorities, a FIR (first information report) was issued against Mishra at the Amboli police station based on his wife's complaint under relevant Indian Penal Code provisions, including 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).
