The actress shared a picture of herself and her daughters online with the caption: "I am in a happy place!!! NOT MARRIED NO RINGS Unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification given now back to life & work!! Thank you for sharing in my happiness always and for those who don't it's #NOYB Anyway!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga #yourstruly (sic)."
Earlier, Lalit Modi posted several images of himself and Sushmita Sen to Twitter with the caption, "Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 - a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon."
People assumed that Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi got married, but he quickly clarified in another tweet that he was only dating the actress and that marriage was on the cards.
Lalit Modi posted on Twitter, "Just for clarity. Not married - just dating each other. That too it will happen one day."
Meanwhile, Sushmita's brother Rajeev Sen has stated that he was "pleasantly surprised" by the new development in his sister's life, which he was unaware of previously.
"I've been pleasantly surprised. Before I say anything, I'll consult with my sister. I was completely unaware of it. My sister has yet to confirm this from her end, so I cannot comment for the time being "Rajeev stated.
Sushmita Sen ended her three-year relationship with Rohman Shawl in December 2021.
