The influenza A virus subtype H3N2, which is particularly prevalent in children and the elderly between December and March, is the common flu virus.

Digital Desk: With the H3N2 influenza virus, India has so far reported two deaths. According to data from the ministry, the nation recorded 5,451 cases of H3N2 between January 2 and March 5. • Body aches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea are some more symptoms that may appear.
    • Patients occasionally also experience excruciating muscular pain
    • Individuals with pneumonia-like symptoms have also been admitted to hospitals.

    •  Several elderly patients have been observed to lose consciousness.
