Commission (NMC) encouraged medical students not to travel to Pakistan to
pursue medical education.

of India who intends to take admission in MBBS/BDS or equivalent medical course
in any medical college of Pakistan shall not be eligible for appearing in FMGE
or seeking employment in India on the basis of educational qualifications
acquired in Pakistan, except those who had joined Pakistan degree
colleges/institutions before December 2018."

Indian citizenship will be able to take the FMGE/NEXT exam and seek work in
India.

national/overseas citizen who wishes to enrol in any degree college or
educational institution in Pakistan will be unable to pursue employment or
further studies in India based on educational qualifications obtained in
Pakistan. Such degrees, however, will be legitimate for migrants and their
offspring.
