Guwahati: BJP Bigwigs Amit Shah and JP Nadda will be holding various important rallies across the state of Assam today, to boost the electioneering campaign for the party candidates ahead of the Assembly Polls.

It will be the fifth visit for Union Home Minister Amit Shah to poll-bound Assam today. BJP national president will also hold rallies in Dibrugarh, Jorhat and Biswanath Chariali today.
The Union Minister is scheduled to address three mega rallies on Jonai, Majuli and Udalguri.

In Jonai, Shah will attend the public meeting at 11:30 am in Silapathar H.S. Residential School.
Elections for the 126-seat Assam Assembly are scheduled to take place in three phases from March 27 to April 6. The results will be announced on May 2.
