Guwahati: Just ahead of the upcoming assembly polls, parties are pulling out hoards of promises from their bucket list of “promises” to lure voters. Indian national congress has now guaranteed to the tea garden workers of Assam daily wages of Rs 365 if they are voted to power.

One of the foremost Congress leaders from Assam, Rakibul Hussain said that the tea garden workers of Assam have everything to cheer about the Congress’ guarantee of Rs 365 as their daily wages.

Recently, INA General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited poll-bound Assam and was seen plucking tea leaves with women tea garden workers at the Sadharu tea estate in Biswanath district.
