BMW 6 Series GT line-up revamped, new model added
The only version of the BMW 6 Series GT available right now is the 620d, which has a 2.0-liter engine.

Digital Desk: The BMW 6 Series GT lineup has been updated by German luxury manufacturer BMW. The company has reportedly discontinued three types of the BMW 6 Series GT, which will likely be upgraded to Bharat Stage (BS) 6 Phase 2 requirements. According to a report by CarWale, these models include the 620d Luxury Line, 630i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition, and the 630d M Sport.

In addition, the auto manufacturer has also increased the price of the BMW 6 Series 630i M Sport by Rs 2 lakh. The variant now costs Rs 71.90 lakh (ex-showroom) as a result of the price increase.

The only version of the BMW 6 Series GT available right now is the 620d, which has a 2.0-liter engine. It is paired with a four-cylinder engine that is said to produce 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The BMW 6 Series GT's diesel engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

BMW has ceased production of the 520d Luxury Line, 530d M Sport, and 50 Jahre M Edition variants of the 5 Series. The 530i M Sport and the 520d M Sport are the only two variations of the 5 Series that are currently available.

These variants are priced ex-showroom at Rs 65.40 lakh and Rs 68.90 lakh, respectively, in India.

The price of the BMW 530i M Sport has increased by around Rs 90,000 as of April 2023, when the most recent BS6 Phase 2 and RDE requirements will go into effect. However, the diesel version's price has remained unchanged since it was updated in March of this year.
