Digital Desk: India is home to the bulk of two-wheeler owners; in fact, 49.7% of Indian vehicle owners own a bike. Several manufacturers, including Royal Enfield, Bajaj, BMW, and others, are launching new motorcycles in India to capitalise on this consumer demand. To keep you updated on what new options are on the way, we've compiled a list of five bikes that will be released in India soon. It's important to note that most of these launches are for entry-level bikes.

BMW G310 RR



BMW Motorrad will launch a new 310 cc sports bike in India based on the Apache RR310 by July.  BMW has previewed the next bike by releasing some of the sports bike's design details. A 312.2 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with 34 PS and 27.3 Nm of peak torque is expected to power the bike, which will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Hunter 350 is likely the most recent of many new Royal Enfield models to be launched in India. The Meteor 350-based bike has often been seen being tested on Indian roads. The bike will be powered by a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which will most likely be the same as the Meteor 350 or Classic 350.

2022 Kawasaki Versys 650 

For the Indian market, Kawasaki is upgrading the Versys 650. The new bike will be launched with fresh style and features. The new features include a TFT instrument display, two riding modes, and a traction control system. The bike will keep the same engine as before.

Bajaj Pulsar 250 Eclipse 

Bajaj Auto has brought out a new Pulsar edition in the form of a limited-edition 'Eclipse Edition.' This new bike is based on the Dominar, which was previously given a dark edition. The bike will be powered by a 249.07cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 24.5 PS and 21.3 Nm of peak torque with a 5-speed gearbox.

TVS Zeppelin

According to recent media reports, the future TVS product might be a street-naked version of the flagship Apache RR 310 or the Zeppelin cruiser. The tagline for TVS' new campaign is "new way of life." So, it's safe to assume that the indigenous company plans to branch out into a new market. However, the company hasn't said what it might be.
