Seva Singh and his two sons, Gurdev Singh and Nakshatra Singh, have been identified as the victims. The injured were brought to a civil hospital, where their condition was described as stable.

They said that Seva Singh and his two sons were injured by pellets when the accused fired two rounds.
A case has been filed against Gurdev, his wife Balvinder Kaur, and his nephew Paramjit Singh under sections 307, 324, 452, 506, and 120 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 27 of the Arms Act, according to Ajaib Singh, in-charge of the Nissing police station.
