Digital Desk: Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and CEO of Reliance Industries on Monday, announced plans to launch Jio AirFiber on September 19, the auspicious day celebrated as Ganesh Chaturthi.
While speaking to Reliance Industries' 46th Annual General Meeting, Mukesh Ambani made the announcement.
Ambani claimed that Reliance Jio had 450 million customers and that its 5G network covered 96% of India's census towns. In October 2022, Reliance Jio began to put out its 5G network.
Mukesh Ambani stated, “From December this year, we will be able to promptly fulfil every demand for Jio 5G broadband connection across the country.”
Here are some details on Jio AirFiber:
Without using any wires, JioAirFiber offers fibre-like speed over the air. Users only need to plug it in and turn it on, and they will immediately have access to a personal Wi-Fi hotspot at their homes.
JioAirFiber is a Fixed Wireless Access solution that offers homes and businesses tangle-free, high-speed access of up to 1 Gbps. Smart TVs, set-top boxes, PCs, tablets, smartphones, and other devices can all be connected at once without slowing down the internet.
Mukesh Ambani claimed that each customer on Jio's mobile network uses 25 GB of data per month. Jio telecom services were introduced seven years ago.
