Starbucks coming to Guwahati!

Guwahati: Here is a good news for all the coffee connoisseurs of Guwahati. The global coffee outlet, Starbucks is coming to Guwahati! Coffee lovers will soon get to taste their favourite beverage, right opposite to the Ayakar Bhawan, on GS Road.

The coffee shop is currently under construction, opposite to the Ayakar Bhawan. Sources reported that there will be more outlets of Starbucks.

At present, Guwahati Airport and Brahmaputra Heritage centre in Panbazar are the two other locations, where the coffee house is planning to open up their outlets.

Starbucks made its headway to India in the year October 2012. The corporation partnered with TATA Global Beverages and opened their first outlet in Mumbai and was named “TATA Starbucks”.

Founded on 30 March, 1971, Starbucks Corporation is a multinational chain that opened its first coffee house in Seattle, Washington.

Starbucks has been attributed for the ‘second wave of coffee culture’ and all thanks for its variant forms of coffee that has made this a globally reckoned name. Hot or cold, whole-bean or micro-ground, espresso or caffee latte, the list is long.

Apart from coffee, the coffee house also serves juices, teas, pastries and snacks.

Whatsoever, the news has truly excited the coffee lovers of Guwahati, who are impatiently waiting for the corporation to open their outlets in the city.
