Digital Desk: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on Thursday opened the registration for the first round of NEET UG 2023 counselling. It has requested all the candidates who have passed the undergraduate exam to register on the official website mcc.nic.in. The registration window will remain open till noon on July 25, according to the MCC. Candidates will be able to select their favorite colleges and courses from July 22 to 26, 2023, during the first round.
Seat allocation will take place across two days, on July 27 and 28. The seat allocation results will be announced on July 29.
A mock seat allocation round will take place on July 27 to familiarize students with the process. It will serve as a practice round, allowing candidates to make any required revisions prior to the final seat allocation.
The final seat allocation will take place on August 1.
Every year, online counselling is conducted for the allocation of Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) seats to eligible and qualified candidates under the 15% All India Quota in participating Government Medical/Dental Colleges across the country.
It is also a process for admission to Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU, and BHU including Institutional/Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC (only Registration Part) & IP University, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing (only Central Institutes).
How to Register for NEET 2023 Counselling
MCC's official website provides a direct registration link.
After clicking it, candidates must provide their roll number and other required information to register.
After successfully registering, users can log in to their account and access the option filling part. This will allow them to choose their favorite college depending on their NEET UG rank.
Candidates are allocated seats based on their performance in the NEET-UG Examination, which is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
