The pilgrims prayed for the yatra's prosperity and were delighted that it had resumed.

Digital Desk: Following a heavy rainfall near t the holy cave, the Amarnath Yatra, which had begun early on Monday morning, has been suspended once again.

Today at 5 am, a new group of Amarnath pilgrims left the Jammu base
 camp for the Kashmir valley.

The pilgrims prayed for the yatra's prosperity and were delighted that it had resumed.

It should be noted that the yatra resumed this morning after being temporarily suspended on Friday owing to a cloudburst at the Amarnath cave temple, which left 16 people dead and at least three dozen missing.

Meanwhile, IAF Mi-17 V5 and Cheetal helicopters evacuated 34 more injured pilgrims today. In order to search for missing people trapped under debris, IAF helicopters also airlifted 20 NDRF personnel and six dogs.
