Digital Desk: Papalpreet Singh, a close aide of Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh, is likely to be released from Dibrugarh Central Jail on  9th April,  following the completion of his detention period.

As per sources, a team of Punjab Police that arrived in Dibrugarh today is expected to arrest him upon his release. The team is likely to seek his remand and initiate the process to take him to Punjab, in line with the legal procedures followed in the cases of other detainees who were recently released and re-arrested.

They're likely to seek his remand and take him to Punjab for further legal proceedings, following the same protocol as other recently released detainees.
