Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday launched Rs 150 crore of welfare projects in Bongaigaon including a new auditorium with all modern facilities to enhance cultural and educational infrastructure in the region.

With 1000 seats, the new auditorium is expected to be a major venue for a variety of cultural, educational, and community activities, giving artists and performers a platform and enhancing Bongaigaon's cultural landscape.

Additionally, by giving prospective teachers in Bongaigaon the chance to obtain top-notch instruction and certification locally, the pledge to build a B.Ed. college will promote education.

In addition, Sarma announced that the construction of the Ganesh Mandir boundary wall in Abhayapuri, which would cost Rs 3 crore, would improve the religious and cultural heritage sites and ensure their upkeep and safety for the community's benefit.

Overall, these advancements highlight the government's attempts to support Assamese welfare and holistic growth, which benefits the state's citizens and advances the area as a whole.
