Digital Desk: Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, accused Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of corruption on Saturday.

Sisodia told a press conference that Sarma, the then-health minister, had offered government contracts to his wife's and son's business partners to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) kits in 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic was sweeping across the country.

Sisodia's statement came only hours after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in a tweet about Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday, that the former would make a major revelation against a key BJP leader shortly.
