Guwahati: In an utterly unusual incident, two journalists from Assam's South Salmara-Mankachar, working with Prag News, have remained untraced since Thursday night, October 14.

The two journalists identified as Mizanur Rahman and camera person Delwar Hussain had gone to Kolkata from Assam to cover Durga puja celebration news.

As per the family members, both boarded the train to Assam on October 14 and since then they are reported missing.

Mizanur Rahman's family has already lodged an FIR at the Kharuabandha Police Station.

As per the police statement, the police has initiated an investigation to trace his whereabouts.
