Guwahati: With a visibly huge dip in the number of covid cases as well as death rate in the state of Assam, the state government has taken this initiative to provide relief in the its previous order, partially modifying in the new SOP guidelines.

In its latest order, people who have been vaccinated with two doses of covid vaccine, shall be exempted from mandatory testing on arrival at airports or railway stations in Assam from outside the state provided they produce a valid certificate depicting the fully vaccinated status of person with two doses of covid vaccine.

The state has been witnessing a rapid drop in its positivity rate as the it continues to carry out the vaccination drive in full swing, at par with other states.
