No official announcement has been made regarding the two members of the banned faction...

Digital Desk: The banned United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) on Monday executed two more of its members including a woman for allegedly spying for the Assam Police.

Salim Ali alias Lachit Hazarika and Nayanmoni Chetia alias Barnali Axom have been identified as the deceased ULFA-I cadres.

Salim Ali, a resident of Bihpuria in Assam's Lakhimpur district, reportedly was one of the seniormost cadre of ULFA-I. He has been listed as one of the prime accused in the sensational Dhemaji Bomb Blast incident of 2004 and has been proclaimed absconding since then.

The ULFA-I cadres who were apprehended by Assam Rifles and Arunachal Pradesh police earlier yesterday in the state's Tirap district have also confirmed the execution of both of the aforementioned cadres.
The security forces seized a 0.32 MM pistol and a 9MM pistol from the possession of the two cadres.

Manjit Gogoi alias Nilotpal Axom and Rohini Gogoi alias Upen Axom were identified as the two arrested cadres.

Meanwhile, it is claimed that deceased Tinsukia resident Nayanmoni Chetia, along with two more associates, joined the outlawed faction last year.

Additionally, it should be noted that no official announcement has been made regarding the two members of the banned faction who have so far received the death penalty.
