Digital Desk: The power hitting Harmanpreet Kaur will captain a 15-member Indian squad for the Women's T20 World Cup, which is set to take place in the UAE from October 3. The squad, revealed on Tuesday, also includes top-order batter Yastika Bhatia and spin all-rounder Shreyanka Patil, contingent on their fitness. Star batter Smriti Mandhana will serve as Kaur's deputy.


The tournament was moved to the UAE from Bangladesh due to unrest in the South Asian country related to student protests.


India is in Group A alongside Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, and will be striving for their first T20 World Cup title.
