The Cirium study assesses airport punctuality based on the percentage of flights...


Digital Desk: As per the on-time performance report by aviation analytics firm Cirium, Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has been recognised as the world's most punctual airport for the previous three months in a row.


Other airports in the top five are Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah (US), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in fourth place, and El Dorado International Airport in fifth place.


The Cirium study assesses airport punctuality based on the percentage of flights that depart within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.

"The Kempegowda International Airport maintained an impressive on-time departure experience for passengers, with 87.51 percent punctuality in July, 89.66 percent in August, and 88.51 percent in September," Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) stated on Tuesday.
